You wouldn’t be the man you are without going through the experiences you went through. God makes all things good in his time.

He can take and transmute which at the time was a trial to a victory today. Because the experience changed you and eventually elevated you to who you are today.

The heart of a man is the essence of a man, no matter what he appears to be on the surface his real self is revealed in his heart. God has given us all a deep goodness in his creation of us but we get to steer how we will grow and who we will follow he doesn’t make junk, his original creation is good and we have the choice to pervert it or be molded into all the goodness we could be. Satan is a perfect example, the most powerful, beautiful of God’s angels but choose to not follow God but himself,  and we see how that turned out. We are all made from God’s material but we all have our free will in how we will use it.

We are captains of our choices but not captain of our outcomes, God decides where we will end up, he is the final judge of our life. The good news is he will allow us to turn to him, with often a long trial period before he ends all our choices and then our destiny is carved in stone.

You decide where to turn your ship towards, God determines your final destination.

We are people of destiny and we get to choose our direction but he determines the final outcome.

Our life is like a boat on a sea of time, in the end it doesn’t matter how we started but how we end. As long as you have a desire to change direction you can, it’s up to you, your choice and experience the resulting consequences.
